You will work as a team to investigate one part of our changing planet.
Each team has its own tab:
🌊 Oceans
🌳 Forests & Wildlife
⚡ Energy & Cities
🎓 I have already providedresources to help you get started.
What should you do?
Explore the resources provided for your team.
Identify information that you think is important.
Add your findings to the appropriate column on your team’s tab.
Explain what you learned in your own words.
Add evidence, examples, images, videos or other useful material where appropriate.
Work with your group to decide what your most important conclusions are.
You may also add a reliable source that you discover yourself.
Don't just post a link
When you share a resource, tell the class what you learned from it and why you think it is useful.
Instead of: "Here is a video about coral reefs."
Try: "This video shows how unusually warm ocean water can cause coral bleaching. We chose it because it helped us understand why rising ocean temperatures can threaten entire reef ecosystems."
Final challenge
Use what your group has learned to create a short activity for your classmates.
It could be a quiz, flashcards or another learning game that helps the rest of the class understand your topic.
